Working progress

Slowly moving forward with the book project. I'm not sure about the colours in the living room-picture, I might change that later. For now, I need to focus on the rest of the book, the images are still just rough sketches.

Three pictures from my book shown at Konstfack (University College of Arts, Crafts and Design) in Stockholm, during a seminar: "A fanfare for the future of picture books!" on March 17.
My teacher from HDK sent me the photos. I wish I could have been there too but I was too busy working.
Hm.
I really ought to set my priorities straight.

Opening at Bokskåpet (it is indeed an adorable little bookshop for kids). The place was packed with people, books and stuff kept tipping over and falling to the floor so I mainly just tried to stay out of everyone's way. It was great to see some old friends though, and my class mates from HDK that I haven't seen since the examination.

Exhibition coming up soon! Vernissage on Saturday, March 15. One of the participants, Shahla Parvizi, made the poster/invitation. I only show a part of it here since the text isn't readable in this small format anyway.

Another scene from the book I'm (still) working on. Rewriting, sketching... so much I want to do, so little time.
An exhibition's coming up soon too - all of us who took the course at School of Design and Crafts will exhibit an image from our books at a bookstore in Gothenburg called Bokskåpet. Could be fun! Those of us who wants to will also read our books to the kids. I might do that even though some images are still sketches.
